Grecians, calf tassels, gravity and guardsmen

I was researching Greece for a possible trip and came across the picture below, which was taken at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Syntagma Square in Athens.  I love the uniforms that the guardsmen, or Evzones, wear.  It’s difficult not to stare at the tiny red slides (tsarouhi), the large shoe pompoms, and the calf tassles [...]

Emotion-sensitive dress

Philips has designed a “emotion-sensitive dress,” which monitors biophysical changes associated with different human emotions and will change colors based on them. Time magazine named the impressive clothing as the best fashion invention of the year.
